Privacy Policy
No account, no tracking, no mailing list. You can read this entire site without telling me who you are.
The short version
This site does not ask you who you are. There is no account, no login, no newsletter and no tracking of individual visitors. You can read every page on this site without giving me a single piece of information about yourself.
What is collected
- Nothing, when you are simply reading. No account, no cookies set by me, no advertising network, no behavioural profile.
- Standard server records. The hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps ordinary technical logs — the pages requested, approximate region, browser type. This is how every website on the internet works and I use it only to see which pages are read.
- What you type into the contact form. Your name, email address and message are sent to my inbox so that I can reply. That is the only reason they are collected.
What is not done
- Your email address is never added to a mailing list.
- Nothing is sold, shared or passed to any third party for marketing.
- There is no advertising on this site and no advertiser has any relationship with it.
- You will never receive a message from this site that you did not ask for.
Third-party services
Three outside services are involved, and it is only fair that you know:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and serves the pages.
- Google Fonts supplies the two typefaces used here.
- Web3Forms passes contact-form messages to my email.
Links to outside websites — Project Gutenberg, the Poetry Foundation, YouTube and others — take you to services with their own policies, which I do not control.
Removing your information
If you have written to me and want your message and email address deleted from my inbox, ask and it will be done. No explanation required, no form to fill.
